TDVA Participates in National Assistive Technology Conference in Assosa
Assosa, Ethiopia – December 22, 2017 (E.C.)

The Tigray Disabled Veterans Association (TDVA) joined key stakeholders at the 2nd Annual National Assistive Technology Conference in Assosa this week. The two-day event, held under the theme “Dignity Through Inclusive Technology,” brought together rehabilitation centers, the Ministry of Health, the ICRC, disability organizations, and innovators from across Ethiopia.

Key Highlights:

✅ TDVA’s Leadership: Represented by the Mekelle Ortho-Physiotherapy Center, TDVA showcased its pioneering work in veteran rehabilitation.
✅ Critical Discussions: Presentations addressed challenges in prosthetic access and tech-based solutions for mobility limitations.
✅ National Collaboration: Partners pledged to expand assistive technology programs for war-wounded veterans.

“This conference aligns with our mission to restore independence to heroes who sacrificed for Ethiopia,” said a TDVA delegate. “We’re advancing partnerships to bridge the technology gap in Tigray.”
