Mekelle, Tigray — The Mekelle Ortho-Physiotherapy Center (MOPC) has provided free physical rehabilitation and medical support to 442 of its members and served 1,589 individuals from the general community in the past nine months.

According to a report on the center’s activities during the period, MOPC delivered rehabilitation services aimed at improving physical health, mobility, and overall medical support for both beneficiaries within TDVA and surrounding community members.

The report also disclosed that the center has received material and training support from the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). In addition, ICRC is supporting the Shire SUHUL Hospital satellite clinic, reinforcing health service delivery in the region.

Expressing its appreciation, TDVA’s MOPC stated that it is delighted by every support it receives from ICRC, noting that the assistance contributes significantly to strengthening service quality and expanding access to essential rehabilitation care.

MOPC reaffirmed its commitment to continue working with partners to support vulnerable individuals and communities through accessible rehabilitation and medical services.
